⬇ Horrible picture, great mango. This specific mango (Chili & Lime Mango) is my special treat whenever I’m in LA – from Erewhon – so cliche. I used to have an Erewhon membership when I lived here but shhh.

AD CREATIVE OF THE DAY:

This ad by ASSOULINE has everything going for it – because it stops the scroll. It is SO DIFFERENT – it is so sweet. The ad copy is clear as day. And, it was launched on 1/25/24. Another brand that didn’t dare wait til February to launch their Valentine’s Day campaign. LOVE THIS. ❤️ ❤️‍🔥 💕 💘 📕

SLACK OF THE DAY:

Our Director of Performance Video (love her) flagged an ad she saw in the wild – it had a blurred product with text overlay that said something along the lines of, “SPECIAL OFFER – LIMITED TIME”. 

The whole thing looked like 1 big secret. But did it work? 

Luckily, said ad is actually an ad that is running in an account we manage (we didn’t create this particular ad). 

The highest CTR in the entire account. BUT!!!! Abysmal ROAS – we turned it off. By highest CTR I mean over 5%. 

So, did it work? NO! IT DID NOT! 

PURCHASE OF THE DAY:

These trousers by Favorite Daughter. I have some advice, if you get them:

1️⃣. The pants are so so so long. Just accept it – or get them hemmed. Do not let this dissuade you from getting them. 

2️⃣. Size up 1 full size. I mean it. 

3️⃣. Navy pinstripe. Or black. Or both.

WISHLIST ADDITION OF THE DAY:

I accidentally tried on these sunglasses and I really shouldn’t have and now my wish list has a new #1 slot. I shouldn’t be allowed at the Palisades Village unattended. What a specific and beautiful and expensive blue. </3 

DISCOVERY OF THE DAY:

OSEA Malibu is a top 10 brand for me. I swear by it. Particularly this and this and this and this LOL.

So, for the discovery – I found out today that OSEA means Ocean, Sun, Earth, & Atmosphere. 🌊
