Day in the Life

I’d like to let you into my life. Like, into my day. I’ll bring you into my work, I’ll show you what I studied, and I’ll show you what I added to cart for market research – so come along.
Let’s try it and if you hate it tell me and I’ll cry but make tweaks.
AD CREATIVE OF THE DAY:

MEETING OF THE DAY:
Every single morning, Monday – Friday, my Paid team and I meet for 1 hour. It’s our 1st meeting of the day, and our ENTIRE Paid team joins, including our Creative Director who leads our Ad Creative team.
This isn’t a daily stand up. This is a State of the Union.
We’re checking every platform for every client, we’re checking our 3rd party attribution platforms, we’re checking against our forecasts, we’re preparing for critical convos we need to have that day of things we need to change or extra budget we want to ask for. WE ARE CHECKING EVERYTHING BECAUSE WE ARE TRYING TO UNDERSTAND OVERALL PERFORMANCE AND THE IMPACT OF MICRO-CHANGES THAT WE’RE MAKING ACROSS OUR FLEET.
We’re also briefing in new ads on the spot according to our creative testing rules (I’ll tell you our process sometime soon).
PURCHASE OF THE DAY:
Olipop: SPECIFICALLY GRAPE. When Daniel bought literally 100 cans of GRAPE-flavored Olipop over BFCM weekend, I was shocked.
Grape? Of all choices? This was scary. Until he made me try it. I am now a Grape Olipop person and if you try it you will be too.
It’s an easy purchase on Amazon but the PDP on the DTC is so well done I’ve copied this PDP for truly 2 years and the brand is worth supporting so I go direct.
I also left a review on both the Amazon and the DTC – because I would want shoppers to do the same for my brands.
