Let's say you're running a 30% offer on 1 specific landing page. A page you drive to only from paid. An offer that's only for 1st time subscribers. Let's say your site-wide offer is 20% off.
Let's say that's working okay - even well. It's your steepest offer, so of course it's working well I hope.
Now, let's kick it up a notch. You've already decided as an org that this bigger offer, for 1st-time subscribers, is allowed for paid traffic. SO WHY TRAP THAT OFFER ON 1 LP THAT MAY OR MAY NOT WORK BETTER THAN YOUR PLP OR PDP OR EVEN HOMEPAGE.
You trap it there because you don't want to show the offer to everyone. BUT YOU COULD JUST CREATE A 30% POPUP THAT ONLY FIRES FOR PAID TRAFFIC. Serve that popup on your existing experiences - to that restricted paid traffic - outside of the LP. Test that popup vs. the 30% off LP.
P.S. Make it a full screen-takeover. That type of popup. Thank you!
THE COVETED: Sure this is a sourcing brand, but I think we can all learn a lot from the way in which they photograph their stock. It is URGENT. It goes up SAME day. The backgrounds always change because it's more important to get it up than to follow a specific grid ruleset.
What would really break if you just took an iPhone picture of a product of yours that had sub 500 units in stock, and said the exact # remaining and made that your caption every time it happened?? 🩰
WEBSITE OF THE WEEK:
LARQ: It really comes alive below the fold. The graphs!!! The comparison is alarming - that's what we're all going for isn't it?
IN CASE YOU FEEL LIKE THIS, TOO
^ I've been thinking about this subject a lot.
I want to develop my own sense of style that is more reflective of my style before I followed 200 influencers.
I used to be kinda cool. Well, if wearing platform striped sneakers to work was cool. AT LEAST I WENT FOR IT. I miss 2018 me and I'm going to run it back if I can. Without the platform striped sneakers - I tripped in them at work and had to be helped up. I tore my tights.
Perhaps pastel is in my future.
Love you,
Ari
