EVENT OF THE WEEK:

When things go wrong during BFCM, 9 times out of 10 it’s the handoff between Marketing & Operations.

You did NOT prepare this hard for Cyber only get trucked by a GWP that didn’t make it into the box, or a bundle that didn’t…bundle.

July 28th: Join me + Brandon (CEO of Shipfusion) for a pre-peak Ops checklist, and close your marketing-to-ops gap before BFCM exposes it.


GO-TO-MARKET TIP OF THE WEEK: 

Launch in the time zone that works best for the shopping habits of your largest pool of customers. No EST launches if you need California to show up. I have said this before but everyone loves to cheat the launch forward to comp to bigger days (more selling hours) but it's not the way if there's ANY RISK OF SELLOUT BEFORE YOUR BASE WAKES UP.

Early signal is also early momentum is also permission to scale intra-hour. Your customers dictate your drop!! Honor them. Wait for them to wake up. 🙂

P.S. I used to live in California and wake up at 3am my time to launch because my developers were in Europe. We do what we have to! It's not about wakeup times for the team. It's about wakeup times for the shoppers. Thank you!

Nugget: The 24hr / 1 week / 2 week video living right in the main gallery, not tucked into an FAQ. Instead of hoping people read the fine print, they put it in your face so that you don't write CX. You probably still will write CX and not everyone will see this, but when you do, CX can point you back here and voila. You are disarmed. I used to work with this brand and my son loves his. It did come shrunken and it's looking great now.
