Bonjour Millionaire,

My mom is in Europe and I'm not but she has the opportunity to make it up to me. I'll give her a hint. VAT. Here's another. Duty free.

TOOL OF THE WEEK:

Sponsored by Instant

July 4th is 4 weeks away. And, I’m concerned.

Concerned many brands are spending UNTOLD $$$ bringing in traffic, only to fall kersplat on their faces when trying to close the deal.

Elbowing out the competition means outCONVERTING, not outspending.
Serving everyone the same cut & paste email flows does not serve topline nor bottomline.

SKATIE started running self-improving, personalized email with Instant AI in February. More sends = more data.
Which is why their ROI more than tripled from month 1 to month 4. They’ve now crossed $1M in incremental email revenue with Instant.

1500+ brands are running this strategy, and seeing a massive incremental return. Shopify brands doing $300k+ monthly can get a $100 gift card & a free revenue forecast when they book and attend a demo before June 18th.

GO-TO-MARKET TIP OF THE WEEK:

Aura is often synonymous with aloof. I think there are exceptions, and those exceptions are cooler than hell when they land.

Take MAAP. God-tier design, for the athlete, cool as it gets.

But, thoughtful. Cyclist-1st. Take their crash replacement policy, where they somehow are warm and far away at all once. Hard to do and not often attempted. The tip is to maybe try to get closer to your customers even if that's not how you usually come off. It's special when it hits.

EVENT OF THE WEEK:

Your customers are already using AI to find brands. The question is whether they're finding yours.

Not sure how to influence or measure it yet? That's exactly what I’d like to fix.

Join me and Josip Begić, CEO of Lebesgue, in a few weeks.

Walk in curious. Walk out with a plan your competitors don't have yet. That is, unless they attend and you don't.

ADDED TO MY WISH LIST THIS WEEK:

🐬: For my husband. He'll get mad and then wear them a lot.
🐬: Not for my husband. He would never talk to me again.
🐬: I think they discontinued my Moon Juice mango. PLEASE DON'T LET THIS BE TRUE. When it's stocked out at even Urban Outfitters, you know we're toast.
🐬: Cost per wear is favorable here. Reminder, divide by 2 for shoes.
🐬: @daniel PLEASE.
🐬: This has been my go-to gift FOR YEARS when I don't know what to get and it's important to nail it and I think they are a bout to DQ it per the description. So much for my signature.

BRAND OF THE WEEK:

Ralph Lauren: This was smart. And somehow different? Have I ever seen a branded ice cream sandwich before? Ever? Not that I can remember.

And that's important. Played out is soooo embarrassing. Worse than not participating. Mean, I know.

I don't like the manicure here so minus 1 point omg Ari stop it be nice!!!

WEBSITE OF THE WEEK:

Daily Sleeper: File under collection pages that give a damn.

The lifestyle cards really make it, but you knew I was going to say that.

The layout is unique, and gets better as you scroll. I want this.

MEME OF THE WEEK:

AU REVOIR

This is so high-res and impressive (from Tiffany & Co.) that the rest of the page gets a pass. Today.

Love you,
Ari

P.S. Tagging your own product as a 'Must-Have' is a choice. Sorry, I said we were giving them a pass. Tomorrow, promise.
