The time to take a short-term-hit is exactly at the point when you know your month is secured. When performance is ahead of plan. THAT'S WHEN YOU MAKE A MOVE.
I don't do crazy things on April 3rd. My month isn't protected. Will feel more brave on like April 18th. Not April 27th though. Too close to my next month when I need to begin again.
