I know I'm soft now and this is my new consumer category but this old ad from Spilled Milk has me mesmerized. The music choice is, to put it mildly, profound.
I will never stop preaching the power of music in ad creative and I tip my hat to whoever did this. No text. No logo. The product in use with music that hits your soul. IF I HAD A DAUGHTER I'D HAVE BOUGHT 2.
MEME OF THE WEEK:
Me keyword searching my screenshots and finally striking gold.
π·: ON MY MIND. It's not a poppyseed muffin at all (Costco really f'd that up with the discontinue) but nice in it's own right.
BRAND OF THE WEEK:
Typology Paris: It's so French, yet so American. French in the sense that the captions are literally in French with English second and translated. American in the sense that there's a 100/100 score proudly displayed on products on the U.S. site.
I love it. By it I mean the entire brand. They need a . at the end of Fragrance-free but that's okay.
WEBSITE OF THE WEEK:
PAT McGRATH LABS: Continuously the sickest hero homepage on the internet.
AU REVOIR
Back to Scandal. This is my 1st time watching. OBSESSED. I know this is circa 2007 but late bloomer.
Did you watch???
Love you,
Ari
