Business Taxes

Business taxes are taxes that your business is responsible for. These can consist of federal, state, and local taxes depending on the type of business and the location of your business. Some examples of business taxes are:

  • Income tax
  • Employment tax
  • Excise tax
  • Property tax
  • Sales and Use tax
  • Estimated tax
  • Self-employment tax

Again, depending on your business location, your tax burden could include state and local taxes in addition to federal taxes. Taxes are complicated, and if you're unsure of what you actually need to pay and how to pay it, you should speak with a tax professional.
