NORTH STAR – FOOTER: 

Dairy Boy: I LOVE the design of this footer. It is far from standard and really beautiful / clear / tight. It’s also incredibly on brand.

However, there are some MUCH lower hanging fruits for Dairy Boy to attack. The CRM capture for starters (screenshot below). Adding a CTA to the homepage hero (screenshot below).

So, my advice is this. Tricks and special details AFTER fundamentals.

NORTH STAR – ANOTHER FOOTER: 

Via Carota Craft Cocktails: The best websites are fun to shop. A surprise moment below the footer? WHY NOT!! So far down that it’s almost an Easter Egg.

NORTH STAR – PDP:

SkinCeuticals: SkinCeuticals is the leader in Vitamin C. I’ve listed them as a north star for their PDP (product detail page) not because this PDP is pretty. Far from it LOL. 

It is PACKED with information. It is CLEAR. It also uses the PDP for 1 SKU (C E FERULIC) to educate it’s customers on why this might not be the Vitamin C for them. 

Based on this chart, I should be buying the brand’s SILYMARIN CF instead. If you stop your customers from buying the wrong product from your line, you’ve protected your repeat customer rate, you’ve eliminated a return, you’ve stopped a bad review, and you’ve still made the sale.
